Like bathing in Baden, the banya ritual has a long tradition that is passed down from generation to generation. Social gatherings and shared experiences are typical of a banya ritual. Conversations in the sauna are just as much a part of it as the birch branches. The ritual is characterized by a clear sequence:

- Welcome and introduction to the banya ritual with a traditional vodka shot and canapés
- Sauna infusion with essential oils
- Treatment with birch branches (cold rain shower, stroking movements and tapping)
- Resting phase with refreshments (fruit platter, tea and syrup)
- Sauna infusion with birch decoction and menthol crystals
- Resting phase

The ritual takes place every first Monday of the month from 20:00 to 21:20 (other dates on request) in the Limmat sauna. The ritual is performed with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 people. The Limmat sauna and the relaxation room above it with a view of the Limmat are exclusively available to you during the ritual.
